By signing up to this tournament, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to abide by the rules posted here. All players must adhere to the Summoner's Code. We will not tolerate players or teams that cause problems , that cheat, dispute on purpose, or repeatedly abuse players. Violators will be dealt with accordingly including possible removal from the EGL site. As with all accusations, valid proof must be provided. Please see the proof section below. Abuse of our volunteer Staff will not be tolerated in any form. This includes written messages or verbal comments. Violators will be banned from the site for a period of time. Repeat offenders will be permanently banned. The leader and co-leaders of a team can change the team name once and once only after the initial team creation. The name must be appropriate and cannot violate the EGL Forum Rules. Attempting to bypass the automatic censor by misspelling, inserting spaces or symbols, transposing letters, using look-alike symbols, or any other method is not allowed. Teams that attempt to bypass the censor will be subject to penalties. If a leader/co-leader wishes to change the team name, they must submit a ticket requesting this. Team names, blast messages, logos, avatars, and website links are subject to the Forum Rules. Teams in a tournament must contain the minimum number of eligible players to remain in that tournament. Teams without the minimum number of eligible players are subject to removal at the Staff's discretion. As a user, you are personally responsible for accepting an invitation to a team. Someone else cannot accept a team invitation for you. If you do not personally accept a team invitation, you may be disqualified from competing. You also forfeit the ability to receive prizes. Users are prohibited from sharing account information stored on EGL.tv with another person for any reason. This includes, but is not limited to, the following: Usernames passwords Email/Forum accounts If another person accesses your account, you may be disqualified from the Ladder/Tournament/League/FFA and removed from the EGL site. The match must be completed before the round deadline. Match Formats Teams will play matches in the following format: Best of 1 Hosting If your game is being streamed, the game will be created by the casters. Stream lists can be found in the latest news. It is your responsibility to make sure your team is aware of any streamed games.For all games, the team on the top half of the bracket will be the Blue side.Blue team is responsible for hosting the game and inviting summoners. Red team captain is responsible for letting Blue captain know who to invite. Games will be created 30 mins before the game is scheduled to start. Both teams are expected to have their full 5 man roster in the lobby 15 mins early.Games must start on time. We allow a 15 min grace period either side; if both teams agree to it you may start 15 mins early. This does not apply to streamed games, which will start exactly on time.Teams are allowed a total of 10 mins per game for pauses. If the hosting team starts a map with an ineligible player on their team, they are subject to penalties. If the non-hosting team has an ineligible player present when the map is started, it is assumed that the hosting team allowed the player to play, and the result of the map will stand.All summoner names on a team’s roster must be valid. The summoner account must be legitimately owned by the user on the roster.Users are permitted to be listed on only one team in each tournament at any given time. Users are only permitted one summoner name per tournament.All roster spots must be comprised of only one valid summoner name. Spelling, spaces and characters must be exact, but does not need to be case sensitive. If a character cannot be exact, please inform EGL staff ASAP with the correct summoner name.Players must have a green eligibility icon next to their name to participate in matches.If the opponent team has an ineligible player present, ask the team to replace that player. You must have given the team the required 15 minutes from match start time to substitute their ineligible players. If the team does not substitute their ineligible player, do not start the match/ allow the match to start and contact staff. Summoner name changes must be changed before sign up close. If you had an issue with a match such as a No Show, Wrong Settings, etc., you must submit a ticket containing your valid proof. The individual user and/or team violating this rule will be subject to being locked. All team leaders are responsible for the conduct of the players on the team while interacting with Staff and are subject to penalties for abusive team players.Staff members that enter a match have the discretion to make necessary calls to ensure the match is completed successfully. When in a match, the Staff member's call is final and must be followed. Failure to do so will result in penalties for your team. If you submit proof from the wrong match/game or links to inappropriate material, you will receive a punishment.You need to show proof of winning each map/game in a match to be given the win for it. All proof must be clearly visible and show the in-game full scoreboard during the completion of that map/game. The proof must clearly show both team's players to be considered valid.All video proof should be uploaded to an external website such as www.YouTube.com . Picture proof should be uploaded to an external website such as www.photobucket.com or www.imageshack.us . The URL link to the individual pictures/proof must be placed in a ticket.For all glitching and cheating claims, the accuser must provide proof. To submit a glitching or cheating claim, you must submit a ticket and include the URL link containing valid proof.All conversations between users are not considered proof.
